We're on the trail of the planet's greatest cinnamon bun, so what better place to start than Sweden's capital city, Stockholm? Nestled among its many islands are cafes and bakeries used to serving demanding Stockholmers kanelbullar as part of their traditional coffee break, the fika.
    Swedish cinnamon buns are studded with cardamom, glazed with a sweet syrup, and have pearled sugar sprinkled over them. We tried them at specialist bakeries, local coffee chains and 7-11, but wait until you see the bun we thought was the winner!
